Furniture Pop is a series of three cover albums released between 2022 and 2024. Each volume features popular songs, reinterpreted with soft arrangements and May Hafford’s distinctive sound.
The project is designed to function as subtle background music, suitable for accompanying a dinner or coffee without taking over a conversation, while maintaining a consistent style. The title is a direct reference to Satie’s “musique d’ameublement”, or “furniture music.”
The tracklist includes Spanish-language interpretations (“Spanish version”) adapted by the artist herself.
