One-Room Flat (2023) is a live album recorded in Buenos Aires. It includes six live versions performed solely with electric piano and voice, as well as a bonus track featuring an unreleased recording from the songwriting process of Young.
In this format, I convey the melancholic sound of When It Rains in Alaska, offering an intimate experience that captures the essence of the space where the album was recorded.

About "Young"

I wrote Young in 2022, after months of not being able to write anything at all. I released it as a single later that year, but it didn’t have the impact I’d hoped for. At first glance, the song might come across as romantic, but it’s really about something much more personal.

In Young, I talk about my decision to pursue a career in music, despite the fear of not following the path most people take—the safe, familiar, socially accepted one. It reflects that inner tension between who you’re expected to be and who you actually want to become.
At the time, I was dealing with a creative block because making music felt like an affair—something forbidden, something I wasn’t supposed to be doing.
That’s why I framed it as a relationship: someone who knows how much they love the other person, and the sense of freedom—almost a feeling of youth—that comes with it, but still hesitates to fully commit. Eventually, they realize that holding back only causes more harm, and come to accept that the connection is inevitable—almost destined.
